[1.8.0.1] Updated GameLift Tutorials (Visual Studio 2013)?

Hi i see, updated tutorial GameLift, and have question. I need use only Visual Studio 2013 for creating GameLift Server, or i can use Visual Studio 2015 ? And If I can use Visual Studio 2015 i must use Redistributables/Visual Studio 2015/vc_redist.x64.exe in my build ?

Super, thank you Alexis. Now everything fell into place, otherwise I could not figure out for a very long time what was wrong. Thank you for Answer

Hello @Anatoliy,

Thank you for your question.
The current version of the GameLift Server SDK included in Lumberyard does not support Visual Studio 2015. It is something we are aware of and working to deliver in upcoming releases of Lumberyard.
As a side note, a Visual Studio 2015 compatible version of the GameLift Server SDK is available to download from https://aws.amazon.com/gamelift/getting-started/

That said, if your stand-alone server build requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 libraries, they will need to be included with your build.
You can download them from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53840
Once you have that, remember to include ‘vc_redist.x64.exe /q’ in the install.bat file at the root of your build directory.
GameLift will make sure to run that script and hence install the required libraries.

Hope this helps!
