Accessing variables from another entities Script Canvas

If I have a player who raycasts, and gets the hit entities reference from the raycast node, Does the player have anyway of accessing variables that are created on the hit entity?

If it isn’t possible in script canvas, is it possible in Lua?

You’ll need to setup a script event in order to pass variable data around between script canvases. When the ray hits you’ll use a receive script event for whatever variable you want.
