Adding vegetation on 3d objects

Could you please tell me is there any way to distribute grass on any 3d object instead of “terrain”? And is there any way to do it by some distribution mask with respect to landscape heights? I didnt find any information on it in user manual. Problem is I cant place and procedurally distribute grass on my imported triangulated landscape static mesh. Brush…it`s too old school

UPD I tried adding “mesh collider” and “static physics” components…still doesn`t work


Currently, this is not possible to do. The vegetation tool requires valid terrain normals for the placement of the vegetation. I have reported this back to our team as a feature that our customers are interested in.
