Applying generated heightmap to a mesh

Hi everyone,

I need to make a planet generator. It’s fairly simple, just a single planet with water and land with vegetation. I have a heightmap generator implemented in C++ and I can’t understand how do I integrate it into the engine to alter the height of planet’s mesh.
