CryBlend and Lumberyard

So I was working in Blender and CryBlend and noticed this:


I can say that I did import some static meshes with this option ticked. I have yet to do any animations or destructibles.

I am curious to know if all of the material naming conventions CryEngine seems to need are necessary when importing into LY. I would imagine they are just for the RC so it knows what attributes to apply to the new material.

One thing is for sure, the physical proxy option on the LY FBX importer is definitely a handy tool for simple architectural models. Can’t wait to see what the team will do to improve the importer in future iterations.
