Important Documentation Update

Based on feedback from the community, we have made several significant changes to the way the Lumberyard documentation is presented, including combining the User Guide and the Developer Guide into a single guide.

For more info, check out the following link: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lumberyard/latest/releasenotes/lumberyard-v1.13.html#lumberyard-v1.13-highlights-documentation

What do you think about this update?

What did you edit this post? I click on the edited link but got an access deny. Anyway, I think it would be great if I can have an option to download separate chapters pdf so that I can read them on my Kindle (My Kindle can’t handle 90MB single user guide) - I share the work I did concerning this issue for anyone who may interest on the forum (hope I didn’t break any rule, if I did, I’m sorry):

Weird—that was what I fixed in the last edit; try now?

Also, love the Kindle idea! I’ve sent this to the team as feedback on your behalf + noted your contribution on getting this to work for community members with the current docs

Thank Amonster_LMBR
I tried again with the edited link, still Access Denied.

.

Hmm so sorry about the troubles @HDN – I’ve alerted the team about this. In the meantime, would it be possible to check and see if you are able to get through this link? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lumberyard/latest/releasenotes/lumberyard-v1.13.html

Thank Amonster_LMBR, I can get through the link:

Anyway, I don’t mind if I don’t have access to this link: https://gamedev.amazon.com/forums/revisions/68327.html

Everything is good
