Greeting and Welcome back
in first lesson , I want show to you , How to make a FPS or a TPS with Script Canvas in Lumberyard 1.14.
Do the following steps and ask if you have questions:
Step01- make a new level (File Menu-> “new level” option)
Step02-right click on the terrain , then you select “Create entity” option and set name entity :“Player”
Step03- add components for “Player” entity :
“Character Physics component” ,“Mesh component” ,“Script Canvas component” ,“Input component” (At the same time, accept the parameters as default)
Step04-right click on the “Player” entity , then select “Create child entity” option and set name entity : “Camera”
Step05- add components for “Camera” entity :
“Camera component” ,“Script Canvas component” (Parameters remain the default)
Step06 -for Player entity , set player.scriptcanvas file inside ScriptCanvas component , This is the same file, download :
Step07-for Camera entity , set camera.scriptcanvas file inside ScriptCanvas component , This is the same file , download :
Step08- go to file menu->“project setting” option -> “Input mapping” option, then , go to file menu->open option
Step09-for Player entity , set input.inputbindings file inside Input component , This is the same file , download :
Step10 - for FPS or TPS , you can Adjust distance camera entity of Player entity.
Step11-Play and enjoy (Ctrl + G)
