my graphics card supports opengl 3.3 via dxdiag and yet amazon lumberyard can’t start due to “no opengl support”. I have a Intel Sandy Bridge HD 2000, which says it supports opengl on their site as well…
Drivers are updated, Windows is updated (10), reinstalled and still no luck.
How can i make this work!?
I dont think that opengl renderer works on windows. your best bet is to use direct x 11 or 12.
On top of that, looking through the code for the opengl renderer, it’s just a DX to OGL wrapper anyway so I believe that there is no proper support for opengl rendering.
Here’s the area of code that is a DX to OGL wrapper: https://github.com/aws/lumberyard/tree/master/dev/Code/CryEngine/RenderDll/XRenderD3D9/DXGL
