Switching control from player to object

How to implement with the script canvas lane control. That is, for example, if the player comes to the dashboard, tower crane and interacts with it, the player stops on the spot, but on the same keys w, a, s, d we stop controlling the character, and begin to control the crane. After some time on a certain key, we leave the tap and control the character again…

For input nodes there are “connect” inputs. You have to uncheck a box in the properties for the node to see them.

I did this with one extra step just by adding a quick bool in front of input before controls on the character and if you interact it wont let you move until you are done with whatever than unchecks the bool and you can move again. Very simple yet works very well, would recommend for this instance.
