In the block “What’s Next for Lumberyard?” some features are announced and it’s stated that they’ll come in the near future, but near future can mean much.
Is there an estimate release date for the next update or is there even a “static” release cycle?
Hi there, currently we haven’t a fully established release cycle, although we are expecting many releases a year. As we firm up our internal plans a little more we should be able to share more of our roadmap publiclly.
Can you us give an estimate on how long Lumberyard will be in the beta phase?
Sorry I cannot give that information currently. I would say though that this version is being used internally to Amazon for development of games.
