What is the current status of FBX?

I been out of the loop for awhile working on something not related to 3D gaming so I was looking around the board for information on FBX importer update.

I need to be able to get morph targets, animations into the engine from Blender so what is the current plan here?

That may be ok if it works with morph targets. My entire project depends on that,

For now, you could use CryBlend to get animations to LumberYard. Works well.
