New to this engine. I have been working with unreal engine for awhile and they had a feature called world composition, with this you could theoretically make terrains of any size (would have to edit the source) but its basically just copying and pasting the terrain over and over and gluing them together. I need to know if lumberyard has something similar? Need to create a total size that will be quite large. And yes I know that optimization will be needed.
Thanks for your interest in Lumberyard. Currently, we do not have a feature like this.
So there is no system to make a terrain size above the default capacity? Other then modifying the source code?
